Hello. My name is Melissa Dotson, MS, LMHC, a Mental Health Counselor and the president of Dotson Therapy & Associates, LLC. I see clients throughout the state of Indiana. I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Indiana since 2016.

 

I have 14 years of mental health work experience dating back to 2008. I have worked in the health care setting since 1996 in a variety of positions, but the majority of that time was spent in the emergency department or critical care. I have experience dealing with mental health in the inpatient, outpatient, and subacute areas.

 

I have worked directly as a mental health counselor since 2014. I am experienced in, although my practice is not limited to, the following areas:​​​​​​​​

• Individual Therapy
• DBT Therapy
• Substance Abuse Education and Relapse Prevention Groups
• Substance Abuse Assessment and Individual Therapy (Adults)
